to Binance Council 2.0. I am live from Raleigh, North Carolina. I am in the research triangle area this week. I visited my grandmother who saw our newborn for the first time in six months because of COVID. She's in Roanoke. Drove down to Raleigh to be with my old family here in town. For those of you who did not know, I spent a year out in Raleigh recruiting, made a lot of great connections, made a lot of great friends. And actually my mentor and my dear dear friend Taylor Roberts is going to be with me tomorrow live on this show. We're going to talk about leadership principles.

It is going to be a good one. So if you're watching this, please tune in tomorrow. Julio, good morning. Thanks for tuning in. Darwin, same back at you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for tuning in. So yeah, tuning in tomorrow. Taylor Roberts and I will be live is going to be a good one. Taylor is an amazing individual. So before we get started today, if you shout out as always, Alex Pooler, Summer, Lydington, Drew Skeleton, Brandon Rave, that is my team around me that's helping propel Taylor, Deson and guidance counselor to Puneau could not do it without them. Also again, Vaco's, you know, constant encouragement support as well.

So I'm incredibly blessed to have an amazing team and amazing company around me. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you to those folks. If you want design help, social content strategy help, please DM me. I'll get you connected with those individuals. If you're a hiring manager watching this and you need help hiring your tired of your recruiters, your tired of your vendors, do you have projects that you need accomplished that you've been put on the back burner for 2020 that needs to be knocked out in 2021? Let me know DM me. I have a team. We can build teams quickly. I have successful stories of scaling up scrum teams within five days of a project leaning in a project.

So if you are a hiring manager in tech that really, really wants some help from project work, please DM me. I want to work with you. That's one of my goals I set on this channel. On this live show is to basically find five new companies this year. If you are not in tech and still want to use me to hire your team, please DM me that we can make it happen. So let's go ahead and get started today. This topic, how to be efficient with your time when you have a full-time job and you're trying to find a job. I'm getting really big on time management.

So I've pivoted in many different areas over the last few months. I'm still always big on how marketing and the job search play into you finding a job. I'm always going to be passionate about that because there's just so much correlation. But one thing I'm getting really bullish about is time management. And being very observant of why you do things the way you do. And I want to break down some specific things that you have to do if you have a full-time job or in general the job search to make yourself more efficient. The first thing is, drum roll, the first thing that you should do is partner with recruiters.

And when I say you're probably, hey, I got it, partner with recruiters, what in the hell does that mean? So partner with recruiters means let the recruiters work for you and really lean on the recruiters. The recruiters are labor market experts. We know a lot. You need to lean on us. So what I would do, so again, I'm getting this question to talk to you, well, hot tail, that sounds great. How do I find, how do I find a recruiter? So it is a lot. And it takes some work. But what I would do is I would literally go to the search bar and link in and start and use the word recruiter.

And literally just start going through profiles. And I would connect with the people who have the most recommendations who have been there the longest, who seem to be seasoned professionals. My rule is the two and two rule. Been at the same company, the same recruiting company for two years, and been recruiting for two years. And so I would literally, that's going to take some time. That is going to be the biggest. But so instead of blindly submitting your resume all around town and disqualifying yourself all the way around town. because that happens. Yes, that happens when you submit your resume all around town, you're going to disqualify yourself with working with your recruiter.

So don't do that. Stop doing that. I wish I had some graphics. I would not have like stops on and stop. So don't do that. What I need you to do is spend that time that you would take submitting your resume all around town and search recruiters in your area. And when you find one recruit that you like, ask that recruiter, hey, Mr. Mr. McRooter, who else do you know that can get me connected with somebody else in the market? Right? Ask somebody. Right? I'm really bullish on asking for next steps. When you finish a conversation with somebody, ask for something else. Right? And so ask the recruiter that you like.

What's another recruiter or two that can get you connected? All right. So that's the first thing. We're lying the recruiters, another recruiter hack that I get goosebumps on is I would lump all those recruiters into a BCC. I just found out what CC meant, carbon copy, a BCC for those of you who do not know what that is is blind carbon copy. Thank you for attending my TED Talk this morning. Blind carbon copy all five recruiters and start sending them leads. Hey, just keep it general. Right? You don't want them to know you're all on a BCC like, hey, exclamation mark. I saw this. I saw this job.

I believe who do you know? Are you working on it? Hey, just blow them up. Who do do you know? Who do you know? Do you know anybody? Are you hired and use that? That's going to drastically transform your job. So that's the first way to be efficient. Right? Finding a job, finding a job and finding that recruiter is a lot on the front end. It's not very efficient because it's a lot of just grinding it out. But once you get those handful recruiters, that's when it starts to become efficient with you time. I want to get some shoutouts for people who are tuning in.

Son, good morning from Turkey. I love it. We are in a national. I'm going to get this kind of 2.0. I love it. The RTA what's going on. My favorite recruiter is back happy new year. Happy new year to you too. I'm glad your favorite recruiter. That means a lot. John, good morning. What's going on, man? I get I love that tie. Hey, comment in the chat, John, where you've got that tie for others to get that tie as well. Andrew, Andrew wants to connect. Connected into your mailer. He wants to connect. Stewart wants to do the same thing. He's currently looking for a front end dev coming from a new career.

I love it. This is how the magic happens. Everyone get connected. Be friends. That is how you network. This is how you network right here. So the first thing is relying recruiters. The next thing is I need you to start creating, start creating your profiles, your job profiles on all the job boards. The main one that I focus on is indeed.com. Dice.com. Dice.com. Dice.com is specifically for tech folks. You cannot be a developer, but literally what you can do is if you're not a developer and you push your resume, it's not going to help you. Dice.com, specific tech-centric, and career builder. I'm a firm-phile screw builder.

I haven't had much success with career builder. Comment on this. Comment at me. Let me know if you had success on career builder. What you need to do is you need to update your profile every day. That just means log in. Here's the trick. Here's the crazy thing recruiters search on profiles that have had any activity in 24 hours, any activity, any period. If you log in, your profile is going to be at the very top every single day, every single day. That is how you become efficient with the job search. All you do is log on and be top of mind every single day.

I'm going to answer some more questions coming in real quick. John, through the link up where he got his tie, John, I will check that out. If anybody likes John's tie, there it is. Austin, thank you so much. This is inspiring. I've had a ton of coffee. So thank you. D'Arté is dice fairly new. DICE has been around for a while. Also, if you have your favorite job site, if you have a favorite job site, comment at me. Let's throw it in the chat. I'll get up for other people to see. I like to play on indeed. DICE linked in. Obviously, Twitter is another animal.

That's where I like to play. If you have a favorite job board that you have had success with, please at me comment and I'll throw it up. That's nothing. The first thing, recruiters, find them. BCC them on job leads. Ask them to help you with your resume, to write your resume, to write your LinkedIn, all of that. Second thing is his job boards, job sites. Make sure you have your resume, your profiles built out, and constantly log in every single day. By the way, coffee this morning brought to you by solar coffee in Raleigh. It is fantastic. Those are the two things. The third thing that you need to do is network.

Is network. 30 minutes a day on LinkedIn or Twitter, commenting, liking, connecting with people, and posting every day. 30 minutes. This is where a lot of people run into problems. People can't work the networking side into their schedule. I know there's books to buy on how to form new habits. Everybody has their thoughts on it. Just create a dang calendar invite. At the end of the day, the way to establish new habits is to create a calendar invite. Just throw it up every day and start to see a pop up on your phone. That's the way I do it. That's the way I do it.

I'm interested. If you have any other thoughts on how to implement a habit quickly, without reading books, please throw it up in the chat. Let me know what else that has helped you get into a rhythm in anything in your life, whether it's working out or meditating, whatever. Throw it up in the comment. Let me know if you have any other hacks. But for me, it's literally just creating a calendar invite. So, DRT says right here, I literally spent an hour just on social media network on LinkedIn. That's it, every day. I'm just asking 30 minutes. I'm asking for 15 maybe to start because here's the deal you can use recruiters.

You can use the job boards, but at the end of the day, if you're not putting out content, when I say put out content, live blog, journal on LinkedIn, document your journey as a software developer, document your journey going from one career to another, liking people's status as commenting, get it engaged with other discussions with people in your community. If you are not doing that 30 minutes a day, let's just say 15, 15 minutes of the day, you're not utilizing everything. Now, you're asked yourself Taylor said, Taylor, you gave me three things. That's a lot of things. I will tell you this. If you literally hone in on these three things, this is it.

But this is the end of the chat. This is it. This is the end of the live right here. If you do those three things, every single day, you will find a job I guarantee in six months or less. Honestly, I guarantee it 90 days. And if you haven't done that, let me know if you've done it consistently, but the issue is no one does it consistently. So create calendar invites, get into a rhythm, updating your job site profile, email and recruiters every day with job leads, stop submitting your resume, networking on LinkedIn and Twitter, Twitter is another animal. I think I'm going to break down Twitter probably this week or next.

Go really all in on how to use Twitter. But that's it. That's it. Those are my top things that I would recommend. And so thank you for tuning in to guide's counselor to Foyno. I appreciate it. Let me know if you have any thoughts, questions, or concerns on this topic. DRK says, I've gotten more leads reaching out and networking and just blindly applying. The RK gets it. He gets it. He gets it. I love it. Who are the Twitter's great too? Absolutely. Absolutely. So again, thank y'all for tuning in. That's it. guidance, Dr. Thuplin Amistel for another few seconds. Do any thoughts, comments, throw it up in the chat.

If you have any favorite job boards outside of Dyson D, LinkedIn, please comment. If you have any habit forming tips, please comment real quick on how you implement new habits quickly. I'd love to share that information as well. Scott feels looking for to Twitter advice. Yes, we'll dive into Twitter. Twitter is this animal that I think people need to know how to operate. It's honestly, if there is one tool I could live in the Dallas Twitter. So I think we'll dive into that. It's honestly probably next week. So tomorrow, again, my buddy Taylor Roberts is going to be on this show talking about leadership principles.

So be on tomorrow. And then I'm going to be traveling back to Nashville Thursday and then no live show on Friday. So we'll dive into Twitter next week. Mark on your calendars. We may do Twitter all week next week. Cool. I appreciate y'all. Love y'all dearly. New habits third on the calendar. Make time for it. Who are y'all gets it? I love it. Go on the calendar. All right, y'all. Y'all have a great, I believe today is Tuesday. Y'all have a great Tuesday. Please comment connected people on the chat. Make some friends. Now's how I'm doing. If you are watching this, you need to correct everybody in the chat.

You have something in common. You're here watching. You're here consuming content. You are saying, I love it. My calendar is booked to capacity. Much so I tell you, you have a great Tuesday. Love y'all dearly. Have a great one. Peace.
