building developer communities
i moved to nashville to play music, fell into the engineering world and spent 15 years learning one thing: people hire people. so i started hosting rooms. 100+ events thrown across the globe, some with 250+ rsvps: developer lunches, meetups and conference dinners from nashville to dallas, atlanta, raleigh, bentonville, guadalajara and mexico city. the secret was never skipping the 5-person lunch.
brand/marketing/storytelling
i don't just post, i document. every trip, talk and episode becomes a story someone can learn from: vlogs, carousels, recaps, the behind-the-scenes of building something real. i think like a creative director: find the moment, shoot it honestly, cut it so it pops.
i've built a bench of creative teams i can pull from: designers, video editors, photographers. and i can shoot everything myself. bring me into a new company and you get the whole creative team, not just a guy with ideas.
personal ai assistants
no jargon, no hype. i show people how to set up and operationalize a personal ai assistant for their career: pressure-test the resume, build a target company list, prep the interview, negotiate the offer. i teach it on the podcast, on stage and in the email community.
recruiting/career positioning
15+ years on the recruiting side of tech and 5,000+ technologists placed in new jobs. i know what hiring managers actually screen for, so i help people position their story, resume and search to land the role.
