to get the opportunity into guidance counselor 2.0. I'm dropping the live edition because everybody gets it now. This is what we do, the live show. Again, for those of you who are new tuning in, thank you so much. It means so, so much that you're willing to spend a few minutes of your Monday. Very grateful to be here. What's not about to do a live show? Because my power went out for the last half hour. So I'm very excited for my power to be back so I can actually do work. Elliot, what's going on, Mississippi, USA. Again, if you are tuning in, please comment, add me, let me know where you're tuning in from.
Why is this going to kick off 2021 by being with you all this morning? And talking about some things that've been on my heart a little bit, obviously took two weeks off social for the most part. I think I posted stuff about my dog other than that. And I posted some stuff about Gamecock football aside from that, I haven't posted anything job related. I actually needed a break. Because to be honest with you, coming up with content every single day is exhausting, not to mention my other day job that's not content creation. And so Amy, what's going on from Memphis. Thank you for tuning in.
So the first thing I want to do is if you are a hiring manager or if you know somebody who's hiring, I want to work with you. One of my goals that I set publicly and one of my last live shows was to work and close five deals with five different clients in 2021 through this live stream. So make it happen. I would love to make it happen. And so if you are interested in working with me, we can talk about your staffing needs. Even if it's non-technical, I can still make it happen here at Beiko. So definitely reach out. We are recruiting across the country.
So no location is too far. And it could give me excuse once the lockdowns done to travel to you wherever you're tuning in from. So it's a good thing to do. So again, if you are hiring, we'd love to work with you. Shout out to my team. That is around me. We've developed a pretty awesome team. First and foremost, shout out to Alex Pooler. Alex does all my design and email newsletter. So I have an email newsletter that goes out every single week. Check it out. If you need that link, shoot me a DM. I'll shoot you the link. So I'm going to email newsletter.
He did all this stuff. Guy's accounts are texting, all that stuff. So check that out. You know, text me to join my texting community. So if you need some design work, shoot Alex Pooler, email out, poolerdesign at gmail.com. Next, individual one of you are shout out to is Summer Lettington Summers and Seattle Summer of Spain. Tasks, she is completely redoingtailidescent.com. That is going to be a one-stop shop for everything. Word tracks on how to network, resume templates, all that. So Summer is doing that. That's L-I-D-D-D-I-N-G-T-O-N. So yeah, I mean, basically, Summer Lettington, check her out on LinkedIn. And then Drew Skeleton, Drew's done a ton of my video works if you need somebody to do some quick video editing.
I can hook you up with Drew. And finally, as always, my buddy Brandon R.Vay braided 78 up in Lexington, Kentucky. He had a lot of big things planned for this year, a lot of cool initiatives. So if you are a small business or an individual wanting to scale your personal brain, check him out as well, I can share his constant information. So please DM me. I see a question. What's the race you offer? Shoot me, DM. Let's talk about this. I mean, I definitely, we can be very, very flexible. We can talk about payment terms. Have some delayed payment terms. They have to pay everything upfront.
So we can talk about that. So shoot me, DM. So all that being said, here's what I want to talk to you about. And here's what's kind of been on my heart for the last two weeks. And I'm also kind of talking at myself. And I'm also talking to my team if my team is watching. And then I'm talking to you as well. The two things I want to talk about today, and again, this isn't going to be a long one. But I want to leave you with some words today. And again, if you need anything, comment, or if you have any thoughts on what I'm saying, please comment.
But the first thing I want to talk about is not playing the victim. And so here's what I mean by that. And I don't mean that lightly. What I mean is 2020 is kick a lot of people into teeth or kick people in the mouth, kick people in teeth. 2020 has been very difficult. Again, I've walked through a lot of personal things with my team, things that have been hard, that have been heavy. And there have been some things in my life, and me and my wife's life that we have walked through. And it's all good stuff. But again, challenges, right? 2020 has brought a new set of challenges.
And so all that, Nicole, thank you for tuning in from Nashville. So all that being said, I want to tell you to step into 2021. And this kind of goes to my next thing. Is it with confidence and knowing who you are? And then also understanding that you can't bring 2020 into 2021. I think I'm very wary of people within my organization and within life in general, is that they're going to hold on to 2020 as this victim car. Well, 2020 was terrible. That's why I'm off to a slow start. or 2020 really put me down. So that's why I can't get going. That does not need to happen.
It is a new year. You do not need to play the victim card. Because what that's going to do is that is just going to torpedo your successes for 2021. And so again, I want you to have the confidence. If you're watching this, if you are on the job search, if you're running a small business, if you are in any capacity, doing anything positive in this world, which if you are watching this, I'm sure you are. You need to have confidence in who you are. I think a lot of times, individuals, they just, they don't have the confidence. You could be the most amazing artist, but you could be so down on yourself that you'll never let other people see your work.
And for me, it's so funny to reflect because I started to do not live stuff. I started to video myself on my phone, almost this time last year when the pandemic hit March. And here I am now coming live to you this morning with a ton of people, not a ton, but like quite a few people watching. And like it's, but it took a confidence in me to be like, you know what? I need to do this live thing, right? Live is scary, live is terrifying, right? I'm basically talking in my bedroom, in my guest bedroom, zoom a screen and thank goodness for the comments.
Because otherwise I feel very alone in what I'm doing. And so all I'm telling you is be confident who you are, right? 2021 is going to have its own set of challenges. But the last thing you need to do is bring 2020 into it. So that being said, that's it. That's all I want to give to you. Be confident in 2021. Don't be the victim. Don't bring 2020 to 2020. Be confident who you are. What you provide not only as a parents, a son, a daughter, an individual at work, a coworker, a leader, a mother, a father, right? I'm so much myself. I have to be confident who I am as a new father, right?
I feel all over the place to be confident. Know what you bring to this table. Know what you provide and let others see that. So again, thank you for tuning in. The guys counts in 2.0. I want to let you know I'm forever grateful for you. Hey, my boss is 2.0. Don't feel alone. You're a few Taylor. You're getting great as I pointed someone to tell us. Thank you, Alex. I appreciate your time. So again, y'all press 2021. I'll be live every day this week. We're going to get back on it. Give some practical job tips. We're going to kind of break down the job tips again for this week to help you kind of get rolling to my deals flowing.
Again, if you need me, text me part of my job community, job search community, again, active daily tips to your phones. Again, if you're hiring manager, please be with us. I'd love to work with you to staff up your folks this year. And again, y'all defense has to be great. 7 to 2021 top. I appreciate y'all.
