Well, and also I want to talk I want to introduce and co-host of react Miami whoo MC Will will get the people that want man. Who are you? What do you do? And we'll go from there All right, man. Yeah, thank you man. I am number one Extremely happy to be here. I'm glad the Taylor's one of the tailors one of the best man Like I'm sure if y'all in the stream in the comments, you already know, but Taylor's one of the best So it's always good to get a chance to hang out and talk with him But yeah, I'm a senior developer advocate at off zero by Ata.

I am proudly from Kansas City You probably can't read it because it's upside now, but uh, but yeah, I'm probably from Kansas City, Missouri Go chiefs The royals are kind of good this year So far so They're me it as usual Yeah, I got the kids say, yeah, they're me it is usual. I strictly look at those games as a time to bond with my son. I don't go, I don't go in there expecting to win. I'm just like me and my sons are going chill for two hours. I love it. I love it. Let me ask you this. Here's a big question about Kansas City favorite barbecue spot, man.

If there is one place you're going, if I buy you a gift card, where am I buying you a gift card to go to go get barbecue? So based on what I know right now, just because there's been like a couple other spots that opened up that I haven't been to. Yeah, I'm reading the years. But based what I know now, I would say Jack Stack, barbecue is Jack. Jack Stack. Jack Stack. Yeah. You know, I'm trying to get back. I'm trying to get back. We good. Yeah. I love it. I love it. All right. Lots of cover today, man. First off, I want to talk congratulations on co-em scene with our boy Dom.

to react to Miami. I am Uber bummed. I can't make it because just being in the crowd with the all two MC will be a treat as it is. You want to talk about react to me real quick? What it is? See if people want to get down there? Yeah, for sure. So it's a react conference. It's this third year. It's held at the Miami Beach Convention Center and it's next to an emerge conference. It's like a big conference down there in Miami, which I have a crazy story about that like last year. I'll talk to her about it real quick. So last year, Tom Brady was like the keynote speaker, right?

So I didn't know where I was going because the convention center is huge. So I was walking Amsi in a hallway and this lady was like, she just waved me in the door, right? So I come in the door, I'm like, I still don't know what's going on. So I'm walking and I'm like, Oh man, I'm backstage at eMERGE, right? I'm not at React Miami at all. And then I look over and I see Tom Brady getting his makeup done. Yeah. That was like weird. Last year. Yeah. And then the first year I went with Serena Williams. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah. So there's the emergence of React Miami within that.

It's a great conference. Like I said, it's on the beach. Everyone's vibing out. Everyone's wearing shorts and floral rolls. But you still learn like Suga the network, but it's so much more things that's like more relaxed just because of the environment. Like last year we played volleyball, some people did yoga on the beach. Like you really get to like soak up the Miami culture while learning and networking with your peers. It's one of my favorite conferences for so many reasons. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. So highly recommend checking it out. Check it out. If you have any more questions, ask Will. Yeah, yeah, ask me, ask me.

I'm ready. I love to see you down there. And I might give you a chance to go down there. You want to talk about? Yeah. So I have one ticket I can give away. But we'll like to just give it to me. Now, we'll say we're done. That's exactly. I will say that the travel and everything is the cover travel hotel. So if you're down there already in Miami great if you can find a way to get down there. But we'll do that like closer to the closer to the end. Okay, okay, but if But if people want if somebody wants to go to react Miami, they can get there collared you now.

Huh? I said someone wants to get to react to Miami. How are you now? No, we'll do it at the end like I was like my minutes left. All right sounds good. Sounds good. All right, so So let's dive into kind of the first thing, man. Obviously you came in the pot a while ago. I still want to revisit your background getting a tech. I think it's a fantastic story. So man, set the stage, talk about what you're doing before tech, how you got into tech again. Because I think it's just a wonderful, wonderful story. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. So before I was working in tech, I was working at like factories, like car factories.

And then there's another like fact domain when I worked out was like the powder bread factory and we like made the stuff that go inside of like Twinkies and stuff like that. So I was like working there. It was like super long hours like 12 hour days always, you know, got to come in for overtime. Maybe had like one day off a week, you know, but also had a family where I had a wife, I had six children. So it was like I barely seen my family, you know, me personally felt like I wasn't, you know, getting paid enough for what I was going through and what I was sacrificing.

So I wanted to do better. I wanted to spend more time with my family. I wanted to provide them a better life, get them into better schools and things like that. So I was looking at different things I could do to try and increase what I was able to bring home to the family. And I really just stumbled across web developer, to be honest. Looked up the salary and was like, All right, this is way better than what I'm doing now. So yeah, I took, I said, you know what, hey babe, I'm about to learn this code and stuff and help us elevate. So it took me out of year in the house, it was like 18 months of learning how to code.

But one of the things that I did is that I didn't like stay in my house and learn how to code. I was out and about. I was going to several meetups, different meetups, Angular view meetups, you know, JavaScript meetups. I like volunteered with this nonprofit to help, like they taught kids how to code. So like using scratch, so I volunteered there. There was like a workshop that was like teaching women how to use Angular, I volunteered to help there. So I was like, I was always out in the mountain community trying to, you know, get myself known but also help other, you know, people as well.

Cause some of the things helped me learn stuff I didn't even know like the angler workshop was very helpful and then I was going crazy on Twitter as well Like I was posting the courses. I was taking books. I was reading meetups. I was going to I was just You know all over the place all the time. I was writing blog post like I was I was going pretty ham for that year and a half Let me let me ask you this man. I just Again, I love your story. I think you just had such wherewithal What made you think to go to meetups, right?

I mean, there are senior people in tech who still don't even do meetups. And you weren't even in tech yet. And you're like, I gotta get out and meet people. Like what kind of prompt is that? Cause most people don't think about that. Cause again, like when I was serving tables in the restaurant industry, while I was doing music before I got into recruiting, I didn't know about meetups. So like, how did you know about meetups? Do you remember? I don't know how I found out about meetups, but I knew that, you know, with me having years years of factory experience that no one was going to be like, oh, letting me hire this guy for tech.

I knew that wasn't going to be, you know, the thing that got me in the door. So I knew that I had to meet people. Like I just knew what I had to meet people and get as much information as I could. And it helped too. Like there was, I really, I didn't understand, get in like the whole GitHub thing and a guy like inviting me to his job and like basically show me how like, you know, the whole get thing works and stuff like that. like he invited me like on this one break. Yeah, yeah. He came down to his job and like show me like how get works and stuff like that in like the branching and all that stuff because I was completely confused enough familiar.

And it's funny I look back and I'm like, it's not even that hard but you know it was just funny how confusing it was and now you know it's like wow I was struggling with that but anyway. So yeah, I just knew that I had to I had to beat out meet people to get as much information as I could That that was right the mindset I took and how did you get your first job? Like that come from meetups or that come from something else No, so I got my first job when I was at egghead It was through Joel hooks like me and him were just you know communicating through DM for like a year and we had like a couple zoom calls and And yeah, I think we just like hit it off We kind of think around the same things.

We both have a lot of kids. He home schools his kids, you know, like I do so Don't be like have those common else who would talk about a lot of stuff even outside of you know like work and tech or whatever and then he was like I'm not guess he just seemed like the work I was doing the community I was building on Twitter and was like hey Do you want to you know come do that for us, you know for here at a get I was like, oh of course I do So, so, you know, I talk a lot about and again, like welcome to a live podcast with no set question.

So we're going kind of a different angle here. So bear with me. Yeah. Talk about because I talk all the time that like you don't always have to be a developer to get in a tech, right? I just feel like everybody has these blinders on in this in tech like I got to be a developer. What you just said is the person at the last, the first company you were at was interest in the community you were building, I was technically hired at gun for my community. Talk about, and I feel like there is a, and this kind of goes in the devil a little bit.

So maybe we can kind of like use this as a transition. Um, talk about like, I really truly think like if you have a passion for people and you have a passion for bringing people together connected people, not only could you be a recruiter, but like you could also be a community person in tech. Can you talk about what that looks like and why community is so important right now and like how somebody could get started in community and technical musicians. Yeah. I mean, I think communities are important just because, I mean, that's always how, you know, humans have, you know, interacted, like sports, sports is, you know, community, right?

Like everything with, you know, they, phandoms, like the Swifties, that's the community. Um, you know, I think people want to gather and talk to people who have the same interests as because, you know, if I was a go to Target right now and was like, Hey, I'm going to react Miami. Nobody in Target would care, right? It's like, what are they talking about? And like security, you know, that's like, it's like a nuclear reactor. Like, who know, he said in Obama in Miami, like people wouldn't know what I was talking about, but, you know, if I put that on Twitter where there's a bunch of other developers and they, you know, about the conference, right?

It's exciting. So I get to be excited about something with other people who are also excited about it. And that's why community is important in some way to gather people so they can have a place where they can feel free to be themselves. Because you can't always do that anywhere. Like even in another example, I, because of my kids, I became like a big fan of soccer over the last year. But I can't talk to them. That's like almost anybody I know. Like they literally don't care about soccer. So when I go to the games or when I go to like different things, there's other soccer fans there, you know, we bond.

And like one thing I always have is always me, the dad who took his, who dawd who didn't like soccer, his daughter wanted to play. And now he watches soccer where her and now he like, that happened, like, every time I go to a game, I ran into a random dad and then we have the exact same story, right? And that's what community does. I thought I was only dad who went through this. But no, there's plenty of dads who've done this. And now we have something in common that we can talk about. And I guess, what would your recommendation be for people who like being in community and are really good at facilitating community?

How can they get involved in tech companies? So I think one thing that I think you will try to look for is see if the company has the Discord, right? I have the Discord. And kind of be the facilitator of community in there. And I know, you know, some people have different feelings, but, you know, do the work before you have the job title, right? Like that's, that's your resume. Yeah. There's an interview right there. You're in the Discord, you're facilitating conversation, you're answering questions, you're, you know, recommending people to resources. If you go into look at it because then is people don't want to really manage a discord, right?

So they see some more coming there who does it and they're good at it, right? And like, oh, we can just have this, like they're not going to let you go by the wayside. Like they're going to be like, Oh, this person's good at this. Let's, let's bring them in and see what we can have them, you know, do this for us officially because you're already, you know, an ambassador. Absolutely. And I think to, I think there is a push and I'm curious your thoughts on this. I feel like there's a push right now, especially in tech, but I'm sure another, I've heard about building community and other types of industries, like, direct to consumer and all that stuff and CPG brands, but I just feel like community-focused brands are going to win long-term.

What are your thoughts on that? Why do you think that is? I think I agree with you. And like you said, I see it in other industries too, It was just that when you have a, because one thing that can have someone stopped using your product or stop engaging as they see that no one else is doing it. They don't have anyone who, they can ask for help. They're learning how to use your API and there's literally nowhere they can turn for help, right? But then they go to a similar API, right? And say it's a text message API. They try to use yours. All they got is your docs.

There's no people they can talk to to kind of get to know things wrong. But then they can go to another similar API and it has a community forum or a Discord or an Acre1s, whether they it's Plink, they can get help, they can get resources. That's gonna be the one that people are gonna go towards because it's solving a problem that your API may not have. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. James, quick chime in. I love it. I love it. Emmett goes, I'm DMing Will right now. I think that was about the ticket. So, I don't know. All right. So let's get a little nerdy about DevRel real quick, right?

So you talk to me backstage that you think DevRel is going in kind of a different direction now. Sam on yesterday's pod, he hinted at it too a little bit. What are your thoughts on the future of DevRel, especially with all the layoffs that have happened? Which is, I guess, I mean, it's hit everybody, but definitely DevRel. I think that with the way that DevRel is changing, just in my, you know, this is all me just when I, you know, I find myself nice. But it's like, I've seen that like DevRel used to be kind of do whatever, like almost like having a megaphone, right?

Like, oh, we're doing this, we're doing that. It was like a lot of talking at people. And it was kind of, you know, you could just, oh, go to a conference and, oh, there was 500 people this conference, I've reached 500 developers, but only maybe 30 people may have been, you know, in your actual session or something like that. But, so it was kind of a lot of, you know, just do whatever or what I like to say is doing stuff just to do stuff. And I feel like now, you know, with everything happening, you can't do stuff not to do to just to do stuff.

It has, you know, you have to have goals, you have to have intention, you have to like, come back with information like right did you go to a conference did you speak to users right people are using a product what pain point you know did they have what what things that they like about the product right what what features are missing right like things that you can only get you know out there from being on out there in the field like I've been at plenty of conferences and I've learned that people have wrote blog post about struggles that they had with off zero so I

immediately take those and you know bring them to the product to all I Hey, this is you know, they this this was so bad that they have a lot of Right, so but I wouldn't know that if you know I wasn't there and happen to you know meet that person or whatever Because you know, they don't really when they're out there doing so I don't really know who to go to so I feel like Devra is at a point where it has to you know, I don't want to say like prove their value, but just bring more back then I I talked at 500 developers,

right?

Yeah. You know, I talked to developers, I learned about the product, I learned about their pain, I learned about what they want. So those are the type of things that, um, you know, is going to change with DevRel has to be. It's a lot more intentionality. Yeah, a lot more intentionality and more qualitative, um, things that are quantitative instead of a bunch of numbers that, you know, in the grand scheme of things look good, but don't mean anything. but if you can get something that can improve the product, improve the development experience, then that's a lot more valuable than a thousand views. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely.

I love that. Talk about, I wanna kind of go back, this is kind of on the same veins of like showing up. I think one thing you do so well in the community is showing up being engaged, giving back between your videos and Twitter and just constantly being out there. Talk about, especially for folks, again, kind of going back into getting into tech or just getting started, and really junior developers, right? I have a lot of people, man, Mox going, hey, I'm junior. I don't know how to give back, you know, in terms of producing content. Yeah, or I don't know, I don't know what to post.

Talk about the power of giving back and what it can do for you, even if you don't really have thought pieces to say, I think there is power in giving back. Can you talk about it? And honestly, Emmet, who's in the chat too, Emmett's one of the goats at it too. So I want to give Emmett his flowers as well, but talk about giving back. Yeah, for sure. I mean, that's giving back or just giving in general is like, you know, super, super, super important. I think the key to that is giving without like an intention of return, right? Like, so I don't think that if I do this, this is going to happen.

Just, you know, just give, just help people, right? And that can be lots of different things, right? If you speak a different language outside of English, right? So if you take your favorite content creator, if they have a blog post translated in English form, right? And let them know that you've done that. Or if they have a live stream or something, make a transcript form. One thing I used to do in James Quick, well remember this, is that when I would be in James Quick Streams, that if someone would talk about something, like a talk they watched or a blog post they read or a course they took, I would immediately go find the link ASAP and drop it in the chat.

It was like a contest. I would always try to be to do it really, really fast. The thing is, James remembered that and James appreciated that. He would always talk about, yeah, I would show up in the stream and then say something like that. I'm like, Will's the best link-getter of all time. And that's really just like showing up, you know, at in the chat, I didn't even do anything yet, right? So, you know, simple things like that. So you may not have anything to say, you may not think that you're a thought leader, but there are a little way that you can give back and provide value and help like build relationships.

And, you know, and maybe you can be the goal of link-getters. I'm willing to give up that title if anyone wants to take it. Well, and again, right, I think, I think, I say this all the time. I think there's tremendous power in giving back to people. Right? So for example, if you're, so I want to give a shout to, to Dev, right? Dev, you know, you know, fantastic guy. Dev started his content journey. By what he would do is he would take my lives and he would summarize my lives every day. And he would tweet like kind of a tweet thread. Two or three tweets, four tweets.

about what my show was about. He would tag me, he would tag the guest. That, that endeared me to death. If someone's taking time to like watch, first off, watch 30 minutes of my shit and then transpose it and summarize it, that's at least an hour of a person's day that they're doing for me, right? So like I immediately was in the day, bro, I appreciate you and let me know if there's anything I can do yada yada, right? Same thing with that conference. I say all the time and for people going to react to Miami here next week or I know Epic Web Dev is coming out to here I think this week like my best way to network with conference people is to live tweet their conference talk in a tweet thread.

Tag the person and take photos of that person on stage. You will immediately endear yourself to that speaker because people love content created for them and pictures so they can use on their social. And if you're doing those two things with every single talk at a conference, I know James, I'm bummed I'm missing, I'm bummed I'm missing, reacting to Miami James, you and I can just hang out together and, but if you're doing that, I mean, you'll endear yourself to every single speaker at a conference. What are your thoughts? Just what are your thoughts on that entire tactic and stuff? Yeah, no, that's, you know, great.

It's especially like you said, the photos, right? Who doesn't want to picture themselves, right? Look up smart phone photography, you know, learn how to decrease the brightness, you know, so it doesn't, it doesn't washed out. But yeah, give them like a good photo, like they're going to appreciate that. And I said, so it's like little things like that you can add. And also to piggyback, once you said like how that endeared you to dev. The thing is like James quick, right? So I'm the best link in revolve time, right? But James Quicks is actually the one who like bullied me into applying at all zero, right?

Because of that previously. So it's like, I was getting links. And now, you know, because of James, I'm at the job that I got and I never, I just was getting links because it was fun. It was like my own little fun. You know, and it led to something, you know, that was, you know, really, you know, career and life changing. So yeah, you just never know like those, you know, creating the content, doing the Twitter threads. You just never know where those don't expect that, but you just never know where those things, you know, we'll leave a hundred percent, a hundred percent. All right, time flies when you're having fun with friends.

We're going to wrap up here. Clark, it's good to see you buddy. Thanks for thanks for joining. It's great to see you as you're Oh, read, pop it in. I'm wondering if there's a cheat code by taking what you're good outside of tech and overlaying it on top of tech. Yeah, like people do that who like some summarize conference songs like they're good at drawing or if you're good at you're a content creation you can do like recaps or conferences like in a vlog formula. There's plenty of things you can take like outside of tech put make a beat and put a song over like a million things you can do.

And also read like I'll tell you this so I'm really big on finding hobbies outside of tech and bringing them into tech. Like so for example, like like F1, right? Like I, I barely know how to turn on a car, but I fell in love with F1 because of the drive to survive show on Netflix. And so like, I know there's some folks on tech Twitter who love F1 that I tweet back forth with. And I was like, man, if I had enough time on my hands, I would start an F1 in tech and just have anybody in tech who's interested in F1 come over.

Typically that's like first thing in the morning so we can have breakfast and we just all watch F1 and we don't talk about tech. Right. Same thing with ice hockey. Right. I play ice hockey. Right. Like there's so many people on my ice hockey team that are either content creators or in tech that I've benefited from and it's not actual business tech. So again, same with Will. Like Will could probably start a dad community of soccer of soccer dads in Kansas City. You best believe he's probably gonna meet some tech people. Yeah. Right. And so you read, I'm a, I'm a big fan of, of that taking, taking the, the common thing that people can bond over outside of tech and then overlapping the connections, I think is huge.

Yeah. Will you have any more thoughts on that? Yeah. No, I mean, that's really what I did with the egg head, you know, I said, man, Joe had a bunch of kids and we homeschooled and, you know, led to us working, you know, working together. So I'm a huge, and when I wrote my little Twitter book, I talked about that. I was like, you're more likely to bond over Harry Potter than, you know, a react framework. You know, absolutely. Yeah. Like so like Colin Lord, I want to give a shout out to Colin. Colin's been on my show twice. I mean, super active in the gun community.

He's an engineering manager and he's a big Braves fan and I knew that. And so basically like I saw some tick talk about a Braves pitcher and I sent it to Colin and Colin and I were like immediately, you know, talking about not even tech, right? It's a way for me to bond. So yeah, I'm a, I'm a big, big fan of that. I heard James Q quick bullying. Yeah, that's like the, it's like the kindest bullying you could have. Yeah, learn, lean it, lean, learn it, learn to turn those outside skills. Yeah, 100%. We all know hockey plays. Yeah, Fred, Fred's are going to show playoffs.

They clinched it last night. So go, preds don't probably don't have a chance to get out of the first round, but it's fine. All right, well, do you want to talk? I don't know if Emmet messes you, but do you want to talk about do you want to talk about the giveaway real quick again? Yeah, before I give you the last four questions before we wrap this up. Yeah, so I'm going to give him here. I'm going to give away one ticket to react Miami again. It won't include travel, right? You got to get down here yourself in a little I will tell you today, right?

But I will give you a ticket, but so the first person, so in order to give you the way, the first person who screenshots me that they've completed a lab or a demo on LearnPassKeys.io, I will give that ticket to. So you can go to... Whoa, you put in a little swerve here. So all right, so say that one more time. One more time. All right, so go to learnpasskeys.io complete one of the lab on that site. Send me the screenshot that you completed. The first person who does that will get the ticket. There you go. Learnpasskeys.io. I love it. Could you put that in the chat?

Cause I can't. It won't let me let me. Let me do what we say. It's it's learnpasskeys.io. There you go. And then and then send a screenshot. Yeah, so DM it to me on Twitter on our LinkedIn I couldn't think of the name. Okay. Yeah, James giveaways. Yeah, so anyways, learn Paske's out out complete it send my guy will a screenshot that you completed it and You can get it take it to react to me. There you go. All right. Well Last four questions big dog and thank you for coming on show again everybody who's tuned in Clark James everybody Thank you. It's great to see y'all Chris is Chris Jarvis good to see you last four questions All right outside of family right you love your family.

I love my family That's a cop-out answer in this case. So no family, right? What do you like to do outside of work? Outside of work so So I'm really into like Recovery right so like yes, same Billy own rolling Yeah. Heat in pads, massage gun. So like, or even like, you have a cold plunge or do you have a place where you go to do cold plunge sauna? No, but I've done like the cryotherapy thing to cry therapy is wild. Dude. But that is wild. You feel so energetic when you hop out. Body's frozen. But yeah, but it's like, yeah, so basically, I've been a, you know, I'm almost 40.

I've been trying to lose weight. And I've been getting like a lot of injuries. Like every time I will workout even if I didn't work out heavy. I think a sedentary life has just made me really injury prone. So I've got like super obsessed with like, making my body more resilient. So I've been like really into that type of stuff of like, you know, different mobility moves and exercises and that aren't necessarily working out, but just a way to keep myself healthy. So I continue to work out and be on this journey to become the best me. So that's like my favorite thing. I love that.

I love that. Yeah, I'm a big fan of recovery. I'm trying to find cold plunge slash sauna that's close to my house because I have, I'm getting old too. I'm 35. I got some 10 to 9 issues. You follow me on my blogs. It clears up every now and then. And the cold plunge sauna hot cold really, really, really help. So next question is if money was the same or better, same or better. Let's just say money wasn't an issue. What would you do outside of tech? Man, I'll say that's another. So it'd be tried two things. I mean, I don't know. It'd be a lot of things.

But I feel like right now at the headspace. Right now. Yeah, you wouldn't know. Probably coaching kids in a soccer. I love that man about you. You're so passionate about cooking kids. I love that kids drive me nuts. So props to you. I just know why I it is no I just be yelling. Timmy no don't touch the ball with hands. Oh I'm still yeah I'm still yelling like hey you don't let it go over there kick it like I do want to get my daughter and soccer I played soccer growing up I stopped but I'm just a huge huge soccer fan now the team I follow is Rexum Rexum dragons because of Ryan Reynolds they're about to to get promoted back to back.

They're in like the, they're like lead to, they're very low. But yeah, big, big, big fan of soccer. Also, yeah, the women's soccer team one last night, signed me up, I love the coaching and I love it. Man, between Clark and Will Johnson on the sidelines, coaching, that'd be awesome. I would pay to come see that, maybe $5, but I'd still come to pay. Yeah, that'd be great. All right, third question here. Any, and if you want to plug something to Octa, as zero you can, you don't have to. Any cool tech trends, frameworks, things you're tinkering with or tools you're tinkering with that you like right now?

I mean, I would say like the site I showed you pass keys, like, you know, for I don't know if anyone has, you know, use the pass keys where you can, you know, log in using like some type of biometric and it gets saved on the, like the iCloud or the whatever, I forgot what Google's cloud thing is called. And then you can use that on different devices, right? Because usually the Face ID only works on the phone, but you can log in with the Passkey. You can log in on your computer. If you already made the Passkey on your phone, you can log in with your computer.

It would actually just scan a QR code. You can do the Face ID on your phone. It would log you in on the computer. So it's just better than trying to keep a password, remember a password, and all that. Because anybody who knows me knows I hate passwords. I literally spent all the 2023 going across the country talking about how I hate passwords at different conferences. So I'm really into that. Another thing that's really caught my interest is verifiable credentials. And if you want to learn more about those, it's verifiablecredentials.dev. It's basically like passports, university degrees, vaccination records, things like that, like these credentials used to identify ourselves in the real life, but that are cryptographically secure and held on a digital device.

So those are the two things I'm looking at. And it just, yeah, I would say definitely check into those because I really feel like it's not gonna be anytime soon, but passwords are definitely gonna be a thing of the past. So we're gonna have stronger ways to identify ourselves that, you know, aren't as annoying as using the password. Yeah, yeah, I love it. All right, last question. and we'll wrap up the day. Again, Guidance Councilor 2.0 is called, Guidance Councilor 2.0 because we had Guidance Councilor as a middle school college in high, middle school, high school and college, but now as adults who don't really have one, what would be your biggest piece of career advice to young Will?

Makes me give advice to young Will is to, you know what? Keep doing what you're doing. Like I've always been, you know, like this, right? even if, you know, when I was, you know, coming up, like, I was, um, I think I talked about it in the last time we were here, but like, I had like a group, you know, like a dancer about trying to promote and stuff like that. And I was like, as people who were having events, like, Hey, let me pass out your flyers for your event. I would literally ask nothing in return. I would like, Hey, let me help you promote your event.

Let me, you know, talk to people about it, whatever, whatever. And they would always be like, Oh, at the next thing, they'd be like, Hey, do you want to come and be a part of it or whatever like that just. So I took those skills I learned from that and you know apply it now and even in you know soccer. I haven't I haven't I know I got your number but I kind of I should kind of show you like how insane soccer has been for our family the last few years but even then is because I came in and I'm like let's look in the help.

So I think I just like keep doing what you're doing will it'll it'll it'll pay off. You're you're on the right track you got to apply to the right thing but you're on the right track. I love it. I love it. Awesome. We all thank you again for hanging out with us this morning. I'm guidance counselor 2.0. I have two more lives today.
